Forgive the unpolished feel, but I’m a one-man band at The Slant and this is my first attempt at broadcasting a Google Hangout video via YouTube… so I didn’t even shave.
But if you can look past my ugly mug and some of the audio glitches, Charles Sizemore and I are talking about the market’s direction for the rest of the year and whether the new record high for the Dow Jones Industrial Average matters.
His take and my take? Not really.
Charles actually thinks that there could be headwinds for the rest of the year and that we’re seeing a 2012-like experience with front-loaded returns and a lot of volatility through December.
Take a watch – and look for the annotations that provide greater detail.
And next time I promise to clean up a little bit, though I can’t promise to be any easier on the eyes even with a dress shirt and no stubble.
